Went to same JUCO as DVE. Was once recruited by Iona, I believe in the year Cluess missed. This is the type of recruit needed to make a difference. The other guard Iona has contacted that would be great is Trey Bonham. |

Not sure why some are so set on missing out on players, especially from lesser programs than Iona. Be patient. We should be striving to land studs who want to come play for an HOF coach and developer.

We should be striving to land studs who want to come play for an HOF coach and developer. Serious question...what HM guards that Iona has been linked with still available? Unfortunately, the names I remember have either committed elsewhere or not interested in Iona. Hopefully the staff can pull a surprise and get another Joiner/ Jolly combo. Trey Bonham would be great at Iona. Would love to get Rudi Williams. Since BJL hasn't put his name in the transfer portal, so I assume he's returning, only leaving 2 scholarships. Roster needs 2 impact guards and a forward who is known as a rebounder Signing period starts tomorrow, so I guess Grullon and Howells will sign over the next couple days |

There are still PLENTY out there I’d love to get. And again, while not necessarily linked, Coach Stanley follows all these guys on Twitter who I’d LOVE to get: Dontaie Allen, Curbelo, Selton Miguel, Jabari Rice, Gus Okafor, Tyree Appleby, Dylan Penn. Also, interestingly enough, the list of those he follows has gotten shorter and shorter, especially over the past day or two so maybe they’re narrowing their list. |

It is a live document that is updated each day when info breaks.

Any word on the transfer from Evansville, along with the coach? We couldn’t get this guy a background with Iona’s athletics logo? Maybe the kid is committing to the marketing program. Mr. Hammerman has always been a top recruiter in the game. |
