Yea, I’m assuming the Covid year threw them off cycle. Only logical reason I could think of. Yep. This is actually 1 year beyond the cycle. Threw an extra year to AC to be fair. I do know that, but still they should have probably figured out the next venue by now. I know they typically promote it during the MAAC tournament for the following year. Guess they have 7 weeks to figure it out.

12 hotels within 6 miles, think we are good Do you remember if the MAAC ever hosted a tournament at a similar location? The only one I can think of was Meadowlands. This would be a similar choice, going back to the roots. Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton 2002 or 2003

70 again, I hope you are right. I want UBS. It would be a great solution IMO. However, 6 miles in NY Metro compared to 6 blocks in AC and Albany is a big difference and based on the MAAC’s decision making history, I am not confident. Again, hoping I am wrong. In Albany some teams stay 6 miles away, not sure why you are concerned about this

Shocker, the Siena beat reporter wants the tournament in Albany! Lol, he's actually debating with me on Twitter about it. Says the fact since Siena has only won 4 times in the 20 years it's been held in Albany, proves its not a huge advantage. Lol

It will mostly come down to how much $$$ UBS agrees to guarantee the MAAC. Anyone know the basketball budgets of the MAAC schools? If we post them, we'll know who other than Siena will vote against UBS.

Siena has been historically bad under Carm in MAAC tournament, going 1-2 with losses to #9 & #11 seeds. Over same time period, they are 33-8 at the MVP arena. How Singelais can argue its not a big advantage is insane

LMAO, let's see what Singelais has to say. He's still arguing. Must be big time company, didn't even change from Times Union Center to MVP arena
