I can see the commercial now... Danis dreaming of a game sequence where he pushes the ball down the court, pulls up for the long range 3 and it swooshes through the net as time elapses... the announcer screaming "Iona is on their way to the Final Four" as the dream sequence shifts to Danis smiling while driving through campus in a new Patagonia Red 2024 AMG E 53 4MATIC Cabriolet Mercedes and the voice over says "Dreams are meant to be lived... come live yours today at Pepe Mercedes Benz of White Plains" Or an L3 Technologies commercial featuring Oz highlights of swatting away shots, guiding some teammates on the court, a few steals and then him hitting some 3's. The video switches to L3 equipment in action and the voiceover states "at L3 Technologies we are all about defense and communications, because a good defense leads to a great offense." And we have video of the Air Force, Army and Navy taking shit out. The Westchester Bank could have a TV commercial where John Tolomer (Iona Grad and WB President) is doing a takeoff on the Wedding Singer bank scene with Sunday or Ayo (dressed as Sandler) where they are talking about money:  Tolomer: So what is your experience with banking now that we have done an NIL deal with you? Iona Player:: Sir, I have no experience but I'm a big fan of money. I like it, I use it, I have a little. I keep it in a jar on top of my refrigerator. I'd like to put more in that jar. That's where you come in. Tolomer: Looks into the camera and says "Don't keep your money in a jar on top of your refrigerator... come down to a Westchester Bank branch and we will make sure you and your money are taken care of. |

Totally agree on NIL. We need to be ahead of this. The challenge with NIL is that nobody seems to understand it, not even the NCAA. There are still so many question marks around how it administered, governed, regulated. Many schools are waiting until there is more clarity before they dive into the deep end.
