If he decides to stay at Iona, a lot of people in the media are going to have egg on their face. Lol. I lost count of how many tweets I have bookmarked. I would set the record for times blocked in one day Why would they have egg on their face? He has said if St John's reaches his requirements he is gone. We are better than them, tell him to go fhimlf , the people at Iona shouldn't have to put up with this |

Have to think he's going to get $2.5 to $5M per year. It's business..... Iona did the best it could. Let's get a nice up and coming coach for 5 years. Would have had one
heck of a team coming back. Only thing that bothers me ....

Same with the coaching carousel experts. They all said he's a lock to leave Iona. Mentioned 5 other programs as possible landing spots, never Mentioned Iona once. Zero shot. Well until yesterday. |

No, but my buddy was the manager during Cluess four straight run and he had to check if they made class or not and report back. Said kids consistently skipped. Isaiah Washington also had a 0.9 GPA at one point when he was here. Cluess never coached Isaiah, Didn't John's get into a fight over grades? Every kid that played 4 years graduated under Cluess Didn't Pitino recruit a kid from DR without a transcript. |

Johns fought Roland Griffin and one of our best players got kicked off the team. This is the type of culture RP was talking about. Cluess was a tremendous Coach on the court, but the culture off the court was not good. I remember after a loss, Jonathan Maxwell took off his jersey coming off the court, kicked it and left it there for a manager to pick up. Tbh, this is why I don’t want Grasso as he’s shown that same type of nonsense at Bryant with constant technicals and ejections. |

If Pitino were to stay, of course I'll root for the guy. I'll root for the players, the school, etc. He'll be our coach and I want the program to succeed. If he goes to St. John's good luck, God bless, I won't even pay a moment's attention to St. John's. I never do really.

Braziller = brilliant. Iona or SJU! Who else is really in play. No good rumor except Texas Tech. Georgetown would never consider him. Could never see him at age 70 moving to Lubbock Texas. Wouldn't he be the lone star there? |
