Since players are being paid like in pro sports, is there any chance that we could trade a couple of guards for a center like in pro sports? We will never have a real center under TA

We will never have a real center under TA And people will complain about it no matter how successful he is. A Big center doesn't fit what TA wants to do. So let's be successful and prove everyone wrong. I believe playing 2 bigs this year will help. Gordon as good as his rebounding was, couldn't help on D down low or prevent people from driving since he was 6'4

He already said, playing 2 bigs vs having Gordon at the 4. Not to mention that Rupert is an upgrade on both Os and Sully on both ends and on the glass. And whoever plays the 4 will be bigger than Gordon by a few inches.

Glad people could see the point that I was trying to make, and now I'll be more specific. Do you feel confident that our 'big' players are good enough to win the MAAC, and not just better than last year?
P.S. Have to disagree with Guy about people complaining no matter how successful TA is, and I'm talking serious fans. If we win I would think that people will be amazed at the job that TA performed with a new lineup. As they should be.

Nature of fandom, particularly the younger crowd.

Two things: 1. Re. Bigs, glad to hear it. But, wondering if others agree. 2. That I'll agree with.

There were no 7 footers on the Cluess teams either.

Rupert will be more of a "center" than Os and Sully were last year. I really hope people realize that.

I know the headline in the Post would be "Sure Iona Won the National Title; but How Would They Do In the Big East?"
