Joe Munden is from Harlem and attended Scanlan was offered by Howard, FDU an Stony Brook coming out of HS.
Sean Moore is from Columbus, Ohio and had Zero D1 Offers. He was recruited by Tobin at STAC and then followed him to FDU. He committed to UNC Wilmington. He followed Tobin to FDU (along with Demetre Roberts & Grant Singleton) so his decision was not based on a problem with Tobin.
Ansley Almonor, is from from Spring Valley, NY. He went to St Joe's (Montvale) and did a prep year at Our Savior Lutheran in the Bronx. The only D1 offer I can find for him was FDU.
These guys were not heavily recruited so I am sure that having their asses kissed by a bunch of programs is very enticing to them. These guys were never "shown the love" recruits these days seem to crave. For Munden and Almonor they have not played away from home, so getting away from family and friends might also be seen as a plus. Add in money and you have a few reasons why they did not land or may not land in New Rochelle.
