I don’t understand what our approach on offense is. Has Tobin banned players from cutting to the basket? From setting a pick? From executing a pick and roll?

Disappointing game. Defense seems to be improving but our half court offense as presently run is designed to produce panicked one on one or one on two drives or long heaves as the shot clock expires. I don’t think our half court offense problems are due to to poor execution; nor will they improve as the season goes on unless we stop focusing on throwing the ball around 25 feet from the basket.

Tretout is so aggravating. The body language too yikes. Also 58 home points come on. Start Quigley, Arenguren, Panzo, Saunders, Adewale. Get Adewale involved early otherwise he's an absolute non-factor. I'm done watching Gordon and Tretout dribble around.. maybe drive or back down and get caught in no man's land.. pick up dribble and then turn it over. If we're building towards the future, they don't seem like they should be apart of it IMO. |

Jean, Saunders and Panzo played well. Tretout was out to lunch. Quigley wild shots. Sultan and Williams minimal playing time. Have to wait until Oz is back to see if the team chemistry changes.

Frustrating loss. Played solid D, but the SR backcourt was horrible.
Bottom line, outside of Panzo, the upperclassmen have been underwhelming.
Will get healthy and get to 4-6 Sunday, then let's see what the older guys bring vs SJU, Colgate and Harvard
