19-3 over the last 5 minutes. Gordon handling the ball down the stretch as opposed to the point guards. Tretout not seeing the ball over the last few minutes. No defense to speak of. I don't get what I just saw other than poor coaching by Tobin. Even the announcers were shocked. A missed chance to continue the momentum with a win against a top MAAC team on the road. On the positive side, at times they do have enough talent to compete in the MAAC if they can put it all together in time for the tourney.

I was at the Quinny game last year which was even worse as we were never in the game. Down 30 I believe at one point and I left with like 10 minutes to go. Then we went on to win a MAAC title. No consolation here Bill…

“Horrible to lose a 12 point second lead in MAAC play. Q shooting 59%.”
Easy to shoot at a high % when 90% of your shots are layups…

Horrible loss. I actually feel sick from it. Can't win on the road or neutral courts.

Gordon is trying to give this game away. I guess you meant to say Tobin.

Was was Shema and Brown on the bench the last 3 minutes. Not surprised about Brown due to his deficient foul shooting but I agree about Oz, he should of been on the court.

Brutal loss. Don’t know how the team will bounce back. As i mentioned in the chat, I’m surprised Sultan wasn’t used more often in the second half to clog up the paint. Also, the layup after layup was a byproduct of not ONE Iona player willing to take a charge!!!!! He did have three fouls so that might have been the reason.

“Horrible to lose a 12 point second lead in MAAC play. Q shooting 59%.” Easy to shoot at a high % when 90% of your shots are layups… Bingo! Tobin should devote the next several practices to defense only. An 8th grade CYO team would have scored 50 points against them this afternoon.

Watching on TV I noticed Oz sitting on the bench holding a couple of ice packs to his leg. And after Idan, who was having a great game, got hurt our offense came to a halt. After the game it looked to me that Idan was walking with a limp. Hope it's not serious.

Horrible loss. I actually feel sick from it. Can't win on the road or neutral courts. 0-2 with Panzo’s buzzer beaters. Iona only 1.5 dogs at game time. Wasted a 30 point NBA type performance by Tretout. I’d say the good news is this team is capable of beating any MAAC team bad news is they can lose to any MAAC team. They shot particularly well from 3 in the first half as usual played no interior threat offensively or defensively. Defense is the one consistent for a good basketball team. Until then we have to shoot well to win. Lastly you need bigger bodies in the future that can play a little
