End of game situations have been a train wreck. Assuming when Tretout is back, in crunch time we probably want Quigley (if he hasn’t fouled out), Jean, Tretout, OZ and I guess Gordon on the court. Sultan could be an option as I recall he has made a number of foul shots. Not sure if Saunders or Brice have had enough of a sample size from the line but if they can make 7 out of 10, one of them needs to be out there in crunch time in place of Gordon. Saunders 3-4 Brice 4-10 Keep Brice’s ass glued to the bench. 75% from Saunders makes you think he could be a valuable end of game player on the court. |

Think you're mixed up about Adewale. For the season I believe he's 14-22. I could be. I recall he has decent form and a nice stroke. Welll, I nearly had a nice stroke. |

Also crazy was putting Q back in with under 2 minutes in the first half, coach constantly puts guys back in to get their 3rd at the under 4 minute time out.
Coaches D looks much better with Williams and Gordon on the inbounder, they know when to double, hopefully no drop when tretout comes back

Presser is now on youtube. Coach Anderson not as nonchalant about the end of this game as he was last time out vs Rider.
You can see he was not happy about the way the game ended this time around.
Good to see as this is certainly a big issue that the team needs to overcome.
Onto Saturday.

Good to see as this is certainly a big issue that the team needs to overcome. Onto Saturday. Give Tobin credit; no BS excuses and he certainly isn’t afraid to talk about the problem. He’ll fix the end game issues, but I think it’s a heavy lift to get it done. It seems ingrained/expected now and that’s not easy to address. Perhaps Tretout returning will help change the end game dynamic; he’s been animated on the bench and now has a perspective he wouldn’t have otherwise. |

Thoughts on the last play:
* Not saying that Panzo fouled him, but very, very surprised that a foul wasn't called.
* Looking at the play on Instagram there was something I liked and something I didn't. Liked that we had Oz defending the inbound pass, which went to Obihoa (Sp?) who then passed it out for a 3pt shot. Didn't like that we even defended Obihoa who was around the foul line. Except for the bettors a two point shot doesn't count.

On a positive note Gordan is unbelievable! On a negative note mountain west and a10 vultures were spotted circling overhead! Old college basketball we would be in good shape next year with a nice foundation returning, new college basketball nothing certain until at least June. I hate new college basketball!! Have to believe Iona is either as good as anyone in the maac or perhaps better. Unfortunately I don’t think this team is built for a one and done tournament set up. Oy. Hard to ignore the elephant in the room. |

Don't remember the year but think it was in the 90's and we were playing Holy Cross at Mulcahy and the game was in the 100's and either double or triple OT. We were up three, I believe, with HC having the ball but needing to go the length of the court with only a couple of seconds left. If my memory is correct HC threw a half court pass to their 6'10 center, Charlie Browne (Tolentine), who caught it and passed it for the tying shot. Can't remember what happened, but hopefully someone does.
