They also play at Marist. Yeah but if Niagara goes 1-1 and Iona goes 2-0 they're tied. Niagara beat Quinnipiac 1x and FF 2x so they win the tie breaker. It's not that simple if Rider is involved. Let's just wait for Jaden.

It actually is straight forward according to the tie breaker I read. A 3 way tie between the 3 does the mini conference. Each team is 1-1 vs each other. Next one is the top down records. So Niagara still wins that. Even if SPU gets in the top 2.. Iona has no wins vs them.. so really need Niagara to go 0-2 and Rider 0-1 to have a chance.

Adawale fouled out; he was not available to rebound those foul shots. If Os was more than 60% he would be a lock to be in the game in those situations. Unfortunately he is not. I may have had him in anyway, but Os is having a lot of trouble underneath and is getting pushed around very easily. At this point he is more effective on perimeter defense. Tobin put Tretout back in because a) he could still and b) we needed the offensive threat. 1983, I'll give you Shema, but the miised fouls came at the 5+ and 3+ mark and Sultan didn't foul out until there was 2+ left. So I'll ask who do you want in to rebound possible missed fouls, a 6'3 JA or a 6'9 Dylan Saunders? As for Tretout, imo, the mistake wasn't putting him in for offense, but rather keeping him in when he failed to deliver. From a nit picking POV, it was going with the shorter guys on FT defense. I didn’t track when Sultan fouled out, but putting in a player for late game “free throw defense” who hasn’t played much in the game doesn’t make much sense, since you may not be able to easily switch that player back out. Tretout is, like it our not, one of our few remaining offensive threats. Saunders is untested. I don’t fault Tobin for playing him.

If you have Saunders in instead of Aranguren, you won't have to worry about a defensive rebound because they wouldn't miss their shot. The obsession some of you have with Saunders is comical. Guy, you're missing my point. I wouldn't want Saunders or Shema in for JA. Either should have been subbed in AFTER the foul occured and BEFORE the foul was shot. I wanted Adewale and Shema on the line, but 1983 made a point that Shema was only 60% and Saunders was the only Big on the bench. Nothing to do with an obsession.

Well after Marist came away with the offensive rebound, following Daughtry's miss, Adewale was subbed in. So, based upon your opinion, I'll count that as another coaching mistake.

Should win next 3 and if they do have to be happy with momentum. Sometimes thats all you need.

Why is it comical to want someone over 6'5 on the court, many times we stop a team and they get an offensive rebound at the end of games, that leads to the poor body language in Friday presser Because the guys you want in stink defensively and thus make defensive rebounding unimportant. 340 teams out of 350 wouldn't play with a 6'5 3 pt shooter as a center, also when it's not working why not try it? System needs to adjust to players. If we had everyone it was still bad but at least Gordon was a rebounder

Don't believe that this play was mentioned. And even if it's not Joebird worthy, Oz Shema did have a buzzer beater to close out the first half and tie up the score. Momentum carried over to the second half.
