Don't believe that this play was mentioned. And even if it's not Joebird worthy, Oz Shema did have a buzzer beater to close out the first half and tie up the score. Momentum carried over to the second half. Would like to see Shema get some shots/dunks inside the three point arc also. His teammates don’t seem to look for him inside. I’ve noticed numerous times him being missed this season rolling off picks or slashing across the baseline. I scratch my head wondering how you miss an open guy 7’ tall especially, in the MAAC?

Don’t think Shema has dunked the ball once this year. Clearly unhealthy. He used to throw it down with emphasis

Agree with this. He frequently appears open with hands raised after a cut to the basket. This offense is not really geared for for him to be inside. Thus, he has been relegated to being a 3 point shooter. fgs 34-88 .386; from 3 19-54 .352 (54 of his 88 shots are from 3) rebounds per game 2.6 Likely no other "big" in the country has similar stats.

Oz is likely the last four year Iona player we will ever see 😬

Think it's likely that JQ will be here for four. A perfect fit.

Although he can’t jump the same he has been open for the lob often, but no one does it. Not sure if they are not good at it or they simply are not coached to do it and thus never practice it.

Oz is likely the last four year Iona player we will ever see 😬 Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t we put Os on the inbound passes last season with great success? Attempts to pass over him or around him created turnovers and caused some 5 second calls…
