Still hoping for the best. I would love to be pleasantly surprised. Go Gaels.

Have little to no confidence we can win this game, except that in the wild maac this is the sort of game the underdog wins. Marist on a high, Iona on a low. In the maac the low sometimes wins!

Wonder if the GC is running a bus trip to Poughkeepsie? But, even if they are, probably no seats available.

No shot we win. No shot the line up changes. No new minutes for players who deserve a shot.

No shot we win. No shot the line up changes. No new minutes for players who deserve a shot. That's the spirit!

Well, I've more or less given up on seeing us play zone, but still have hopes for the following:
* Have Oz and Sultan in the game at the same time. * Not see JQ inbounding the ball under the basket. * See JQ shooting more mid-range jump shots. * See less of JQ and JB driving to the basket, and knowing when they get close to the basket see them look to pass the ball back out. And then see the 30 second clock go under five. * Remember it's always darkest before the dawn. Or is it before the storm? Keep forgetting. * A word to my friend, BE Gaels. Because of your age, other than the year TC got sick, you've probably only known BB success. And because of that it's easier to become discouraged. I say having a down year will make you enjoy the bounce back years all the more.

+3.5
Iona has not covered in 7 of their last 8 games (which is why Guys numbers are getting better!)
Can't see this being a 1 possession game down to the wire.

I say having a down year will make you enjoy the bounce back years all the more. I will admit I was very very spoiled. I had a whole undergrad of Cluess, one down Tra Arnold year, Pitino, and now Tobin. I wholeheartedly believe in Tobin I was amped when we hired him. I guess I’m just disappointed is all. I had some false hope we’d explore a conference move and thought foolishly Pitino would retire here. Seasons not over yet it only takes one run in the conference tournament. Hoping they put it all together.

Who’s ready for Dunne ball today? Even when Iona wins these are typically ugly affairs. Never really enjoy watching them.
