Wow.. This is really disappointing and I did expect a few transfers not this number. Decimated two years in a row. Is it the coach, the NIL, the league?... Time for the AD to get us out of the MAAC. We out grew the MAAC many years ago.

Does anyone know why NONE of the FDU players followed Tobin to Iona? There were a few starters from last year's team that beat Purdue that played for FDU this year. That question always bothered me. Were they totally devoted to FDU or maybe he didn't want any of them. Has he ever addressed this before? He did have a few follow him from STAC to FDU by the way that were instrumental in their success at FDU which is a good sign. Anybody have any info on why noone came from FDU to Iona?

Question: Before the players enter the transfer portal, do they let the coach know or does he find out the same way we do?

The couple guys that would have helped at Iona would have had to sit as 2x transfers, now that they don't have to sit, a few have entered the portal |

But it doesn't happen often, that's for sure. This seems like one of those "perfect storm" situations. Storm of what, I don't know exactly. |

Has nothing to do with Tobin. Kids will just move up and out based on stats and NIL potential. Convert the gym to an ice rink and bring back hockey. Just my opinion.

This is a complete flood over the course of two days. Not sure how to explain that. It could be a few different reasons. A couple of guys who left we didn't want to see go, but Tobin wasn't happy with his team either. So all of these aren't necessarily voluntary entrees to the portal. He felt his team was mentally soft. And there are a number of FDU guys in the portal who I'm sure he doesn't believe are mentally soft. |
