looks like a good pick up, think we needed another shooter, and great bonus that he can jump. Also think we need another Big, but Tobin chose the shooter.
Let me piss everyone off and declare that this is highly likely not the final roster. 90% chance someone gets hurt, homesick, fails out or something else happens. This is the case pretty much every year. Our roster is almost always not done in May. My guess is if and probably when we lose someone there will be an opportunity to sign a big, but that being said if this does happen it will be much easier to find another guard and that's probably what we will do.
I think Tobin did a very good job in a tough situation, the only fault I see is we are left with a pretty big hole if one of the better big men gets hurt.

Adam Zagoria RTed the tweet below because he wants to keep his readers informed of local hoops signings.
Zach Brazilier didn't, he just "liked" it.
Discuss.

I see a pattern in this recent batch of commits. I have not seen or don't remember the video on the earlier signees. One is we have improved our FT shooting, a major issue last season. Two, although not in D1 competition; for the most part, this group does not hesitate in traffic. Kernan, as the latest example, seems to relish traffic. Three, they get their shot quickly. Unlike last year's group, they don't need their caddy to confirm wind speed or direction before launching. Unlike last year, if our opponent decides to guard the three-point line this group has several options down low; and you don't need to substitute out to execute those options. Still wish we had the rim protector, but impressed with how we seem to have addressed last year's deficiencies.
I'll say it again, it was an excellent job to get last year's team within one game of .500. Oh, and welcome Kernan! Hope the only unsympathetic trait you share with namesake Ted (self described "the most cold-hearted son of a bitch you'll ever meet.") is that three-point shot.

It's not about spirit, it's about reality. It's been said that recruiting never stops. I'm just pointing out that a big man could be coming later. Tobin I'm sure knows we can use another big men for depth, He probably had a couple of offers out there to bigs and shooters, and this kid bit first, so he became #13. Based on history all 13 don't stay, you can't ignore this fact. I believe someone on the roster won't be here come November and we could end up adding a big that will provide more depth up front.
