Remember last year when we were a mess, and then we hosted Colgate and they rolled? That's kind of what I'm hoping for here. At some point, things will click. I think the fan base needs to see that click on Friday.

Last Gaels team to start 0-3 was the 2010-11 team, which ended up winning 20+ games. Season is still young! Go Gaels! Yes but that was 3 games in 3 days probably. We're talking about days of practice in between these 3 games. The only thing I am asking here is to improve. What we saw in half 1 last night made me quite a bit angry, because it was street ball and the coach should have made an example to his team that it was unacceptable play. I think Njie will be a great player with exprience, coaching and practice , but he will probably be in the A-10 by then.

I understand the frustration and concern over the start of the season.
Just my opinion, it's probably best we refrain from speculating on a kid leaving after just 3 games. Doesn't do anyone any good.
Njie played a big role in getting Hightower to commit and playing a big role in trying to land the kid from Nazareth HS. I personally believe he's that special kid that wants to bring other highly ranked guys into the program and be the local hero, building something special at Iona

Not sure, what's your point? Washington State didn't work out for whatever reason. Had plenty of options. Who said Iona was his dream school or 1st choice? Bottom line he says himself he wants to be the local hero. He helped recruit a friend from the West Coast to come to Iona I'll take the kid's word over baseless speculation on a message board

Should have been more generic and said perhaps seniors and grad transfers are the way to go in the future.

You greatly overrate arena games.
