Why does Clarence Rupert play behind the 3pt line on offense? Automatic turnover We rely on the 5 out motion offense, which has some serious limitations. However, we have used more post up plays tonight than we have seen yet this season. We were spoiled by Cluess’ offensive brilliance. Though I also remember how frustrating the utter lack of defense in the first few seasons under Cluess was. |

How about guarding the 3pt shooter, maybe 1 coach any coach yell when they are open in front of the bench

This team plays their ass off and rebounds very well. It just doesn’t matter though when you can’t do anything else. Boy is this tough to watch.

Played pretty well overall and somehow ended up with only 23 points and 8 down. Gonna be a long season.

Jungers missed free throw to wide open three. Four/Five point swing. What was that last shot? Are we playing without a head coach?

Pretty lousy first half.
Can’t leave Hurley and Long open.
Vermont too many open shots. Iona has to work for everything.
Biggie needs to focus on the midrange and interior shots. Too many outside clunkers.
Ball movement needs to improve.

This team plays their ass off and rebounds very well. It just doesn’t matter though when you can’t do anything else. Boy is this tough to watch. The rebounding and hustle is good. But you cannot win when you don’t convert point blank shots and shoot 11% from 3. |
