total meltdown... sick over this one.... quick question anyone know what video feed the refs have that allows them to see when the timeout at the end of the game was called and if the shot was good? just curious not looking for an excuse.

Congrats to the Jaspers for playing a great game and never giving up. This is what makes league play so great you have to show up every night. I think this is far from the worst thing that could happen to Iona. The team has just been going through the motions since the Siena game. Time to forget about power ratings and RPI and get refocused on winning the league and the tourney, cause it aint gonna be easy.

How do you blow a huge lead, at home, in the second half? Were they just going through the motions? Are they reading their press clippings? A collapse like this at home could indicate larger problems. I hope that's not the case, but this is hard to understand.

I believe there are now HD cameras placed around the court that offer them different angles to view. I think the conference now requires it,

To jfeng's question - prior to the season, the MAAC conference had 5 or 6 High Def Cameras installed at all of their home venues to record play so that those cameras could be used for such calls by the refs.

Fortunately i did not see the game....just looking at the box score at ESPN and a few things jump out, free throws 22-9 Manhattan....every other players stats look Ok, except machado shooting 3-10 and Momo sometimes brings the team down and he was 1-5 from 3pt range and 3-9 from 2..I dont know the breakdwons by halves but if they were missijng the shots in the second half trying to pad their stats thats where the downfall came

Manhattan closes out game 27-7 and hits a 3 after a timeout with 1.3 seconds.

How the hell can you blow a big lead like this at home when you are suppose to be a good team!
What was up with the slow down!
Why does Momo get so many minutes!
Even the shot to tie was complete luck-terrible play, MoMo got lucky
How many prayers have gone in against Iona over the years!
Manhattan got about 7 seconds to inbound the ball and got about 3 seconds to take the shot. No way can you catch, dribble, turn around and shoot in 1.3 seconds.
Tha Manhattan point guard took not 2 or 3 but 4 steps in the drive he was fouled to tie the game.
RPI down to 39, this team has a few losses left, yes must win 3 in Mass and wouldn't count on it. Worse thing about this loss is bracket buster game just got a lot worse.
Machado in clutch situations isn't great.
Can Iona ever win all their games at home when they are good?
I can see a back to back loss on Sunday.
Yes very negative but hard not to be after that collapse!

Manhattan closes out game 27-7 and hits a 3 after a timeout with 1.3 seconds. Thanks. We certainly lack that killer instinct it seems. Thats on the staff, they gotta find the right mix. They have over a month to do so.

Pathetic. No defensive game plan. Pulled the starters too early.
Not the end of the world though
