Should be an interesting match up. Jasper's seem to be a lot better this year. Would love to see the Gaels come out early and make it a 20pt. blowout.

tau, I wish it were that easy, but I remember the last, or next to last game in 2010-11, when we demolished St. Peter's. And we all know how that turned out.

Every MAAC road game has the potential to be tough because the teams know it's "their shot" against us, and every MAAC home game has the potential to be tough simply because the Gaels could risk getting complacent. We know we're going to ward off the demons in most instances, but we'll need to survive the true battles along the way.

Nice comments by Masiello. I wish him the best in his Manhattan career, just not this year

I think some of the statistics are incorrect. Closer to ten miles then 6.

Good luck to Mike Tonight.
From Game Notes:
Senior Mike Glover enters tonight’s game just 14 points shy of Manhattan 1,000 points in his short career in New Rochelle. Glover is poised to become the 32nd Iona player to record 1,000 points and just the third in his second season and in under 60 games played.
The Gaels’ all-time leading scorer, Steve Burtt ‘84 recorded 1,065 points in 59 games as a freshman and sophomore. No. 3 Gary Springer ‘84 posted 1,046 points in 59 games while No. 4 Jeff Ruland posted 1,170 points in 54 contests. Glover appears in his 54th game in Maroon & Gold tonight. Teammate Scott Machado was the 31st player, posting his 1,000th point last season.
