I don't like the sequence of these questions for this team. This sequence was probably on each of our player's mind; which, if so, is why we got caught by Cleveland State. I think a more appropriate sequence for this team is:
A. Can we get to 20 assists in this game?
B. Who can lead us in assist/TO ratio?
C. Who will lead in rebounding in order to trigger our run-outs?
D. Who will lead in steals to trigger our run-outs?

F. Can we get four players in double figures?
G. OK! Who will be the leading scorer?
Just ask Cleveland State, 20 assists mean NOTHING. They had 15. Give it up already. 3 years of nonsense,

Just ask Cleveland State?? We had 12 assists, they had 15 and we LOST!
In the first half, we had 10 assists - half way to 20 and we led by 15.
In the second half, we had 2 assists and we got hammered.
Just ask Cleveland State! This one's for you -

Not one board member in 3 years has acknowledged that 20 assists means anything other than you. Don't expect the 20 assists to happen often this year (like last year) either. Just like last year,we don't have a Scott Machado taking care of 8 or 9 of those assists. We still win over 20 games. It doesn't matter at all. At least I had a few people agree with me on not liking the 90% of the roster being transfers. And that just has to do with opinion. You are dying on the vine on this one. No one stat means ANYTHING other than wins. Please!!!!!
I was up in New Jersey for our family Thanksgiving (we're all over the east coast and travel over the actual holiday is just crazy) and I had a problem with my IPhone. Apparently I had not upgraded the Iona Gaels' app. One of my nephews got the game on his laptop for me via the Horizon League site.
At the half I told my son that we were up 15. He said, "The first half has never been Iona's problem, let's see if they can hold or extend the lead."
When we went down 2 my 87 year old Mom let me know that she didn't appreciate my language. I'm chalking up the loss to it being the first game; the guys need some more time to play together; we were away; we were in Ohio; the stars weren't aligned, etc. Time to start a win streak.

Ah yes, thank you for reminding me of that relentless campaign to be right on transfers,
In the world of absolutes, I guess you were right on that one - we did lose Anderson and that other young man quit after a few games. Never mind Taaj, Diggs, Mike, Mike, Kyle, Randy, Tre, Curtis, DaShawn, Tavon, Isiah, Britton, and the beat goes on.
Dying on the vine?? Don't think so. As the Godfather, GuyF, has pointed out; this is how I am going.

I love your pics. Just like any 4th grader would post. Nothing against transfers, just don't like 90% on any team. Continuity issues. You love to take things out of context.
Now the real issue. We had less than 20 assists in more than half of our wins. We did not reach 20 assists in ANY of the 3 MAAC tournament game WINS. 20 assists mean nothing and you have no support for it other than your writing it on the Board.

Yeah, and unfortunately in the last 10 days Iona's OOC opponents have collapsed and you sure aren't going to get help from the MAAC. Iona almost has to win at Dayton to have any kind of resume or power rating, and that is asking a lot.
