Now the real season begins. Never easy to win in Albany, but we are the better team and should get this done.

Fast and furious right from the start to take crowd out of game. Expecting team to be very focused after a tough loss. Under Coach Cluess the team has always improved as season progressed. This team still a work in progress. Slowly we will see the rotations become set and players' roles defined. PATIENCE. Matters how we finish, not how we start. I feel we are getting what we expected out of AJ, David and Isaiah; and more than we expected out of Shadrac and Ibn. The mystery was what would we get out Ryden, Kelvin, Grant and Daniel. Grant is gone and Daniel a no show. Ryden starting show glimpses of the player we need. Kelvin showing flashes of what we hoped with his athleticism. Both players need more minutes to continue to build confidence. I think Coach Cluess is at that point with both to feed more minutes as part of their development. From here forward we will see what the team will look like. Most of the experimentation is over with conference schedule starting. Sit back and enjoy. GO GAELS!

Take nothing for granted. Play hard for 40 minutes. Albany, similar to the Canisius road game is always a difficult challenge.

Yes, I think we will start seeing more of Robinson, possibly as early as Sunday.

[/quote Did you hear this from the coaches? it appears to me they are holding him out for a red shirt season, I believe since he only appeared in a couple of early games he still could be red shirted if he does not get in again. One injury up front could negate this, he would be needed.

Like I posted in another thread, don't turn Poole and Oliver into Larry Bird type shooters and should be a double digit win. I see Singelais is tweeting that Patsos is bitching and moaning already that Siena has to play Friday night and Iona on Sunday with only one days rest, while Iona will have 4 days rest.

Iona should win by double digits even in the unfriendly confines of the TUC. Siena just doesn't match up well against us and nowhere near the talent we have

After the Drexel game I wondered if only 1-day off would negatively impact us at UMASS. Jimmy Boy should just calm down. These things can happen during a season despite best efforts to avoid them.
