Some of you guys need to check your negativity at the door. The program is in great hands and is in the best shape it has been in years. I really do not care about SHU or SJU as neither has an impact on how we do in the MAAC. I don't care about the other 2 teams, but maybe having threads that are started and read, "A look at Seton Hall" and "St. Johns" promote debate?

If people want to discuss it, there is a section titled "Off Topic Discussions"... currently they are being posted in a section titled "Iona Basketball." The SJU board has a section that discusses Iona and Manhattan basketball in a section called "College and Pro Sports", so maybe we need another section?

Actually I think we need an "adults" and a "childrens" section.

Well we got out rebounded by 8 in this game; but we turned them over 17 times for a net plus 5 in turn overs. I like that Sed had 2 assists and 0 TO's, plus a couple of steals. We need to be active on D and deflect and turn teams over.

Expect similar numbers vs Quinny.

Patsos is a piece of work www.blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/maac-warns-patsos-over-comments-about-official/19274/ . Hopefully the MAAC officials all took notice and remember come the MAAC Tournament. Can't imagine the administration at Siena is completely happy with his comments, but they knew what they were getting when they hired him. Glad the MAAC did what they did. Very happy with the way Coach Cluess handles himself as it sets a great example for his players and staff.

Patsos is a bitch. in last few days complaining about schedule, refs and now how other programs have JUCOS/transfers and kids that went to multiple high schools and prep schools. He should look at his own roster first. A transfer he had to throw off the team for cursing out his wife and about 5 kids who went to multiple high schools and/or prep schools. The pressure of this season must be getting to him. major asshole

Patsos comments ---again: blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/sienas-patsos-my-sophomores-are-not-26/19281/Though Siena coach Jimmy Patsos wasn’t in the mood to talk about his warning from the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference at today’s media luncheon, he was quite effusive when asked about his sophomore class. Questioned about their progress, Patsos took a shot at schools whose rosters are, shall we say, a little more mature. “My sophomores are 19 (years old), by the way, not 26, like half the rest of America,” Patsos said. “My sophomores are 19 and went to four years of high school and came here. I’ll let you determine what I mean by that. It’s just a symptom of the society we live in. But they didn’t go to junior college. They didn’t go to six high schools or prep schools. They went to like one high school and graduated. They’re both 19. Actually, all three of my sophomores are 19 years old, fine young men that are really fun to coach.” Actually, Siena has four scholarship sophomores: Marquis Wright, Lavon Long, Javion Ogunyemi and Marquis Wright. Long changed high schools before his senior year in Maryland. While Patsos referred to “half the rest of America,” it’s worth noting that Iona, Siena’s most recent opponent, has a roster comprised heavily of transfers. Doesn't even know how many sophs he has on roster. Also: MAAC warns Patsos over comments about official blog.timesunion.com/collegesports/maac-warns-patsos-over-comments-about-official/19274/

Fatsos' suits are way too tight and have cut off circulation to his brain.
