Tough fought win, kind of what I expected, not easy but we won comfortably enough. Dublin was huge early coming in and making defensive stops. lineup without AJ did a great job as well, starting to see everyone contribute in someway. LAURY put the team on his back late and both him and IBN are becoming clutch from 3. Like the way we answered after going down 1, nice win.

Will Robinson ever play a game for us? What a waste of 84 inches not to mention a seat on the bench Is that really what is worth mentioning? It was a joke. Someone mentioned he would see Maac action.

I have said this about 4 times with no one else commenting, I believe we are trying to red shirt Robinson and you won't see him again this year. Hopefully LAURY isn't hurt, didn't look it. IW also with great all around game. By the way I noticed our senior walk on from last year Duravecevic back on the bench, I guess since he has eligibility and they need bodies he is back as a graduate player. And I just checked the iona site and he is back on the roster.

Seems like some of you guys have been told this, it just seems weird he is the only one that didn't come in when Cluess emptied the bench a couple of games ago, if not red shirting then must be he is hurt or is leaving.

Some thoughts from the game today:
1. Will be surprised if Siena isn't a top 5 team by end of season. They have some talent and will figure things out. They just don't have the horses to hang with us as of right now. 2. Patsos is a clown. Feel like his antics hurt his team more than they help. 3. Not a huge game from IW, but hit shots in clutch situations, including a big answer shot after Saints took brief lead. These answer shots from him usually make the difference for us between winning and losing. 4. Great contributions from the bench today as well as Hines. When our role players step up and do the little things to take the pressure off the big 3 it makes a world of difference. 5. AJ needs to be smarter than to get a T in that situation. Could have cost us dearly if DL3 didn't step up and play out of his mind. 6. Got depressed thinking about how we're going to replace DL3 next year. Such a unique player and creates so many matchup difficulties it's hard to imagine him not being a part of this team after this season. He is literally unstoppable in the MAAC when he's on his game. 7. The Long kid on Siena is a very nice player. If they had another healthy body down low to complement him they'd be a real threat in the conference. 8. Despite the win there are still areas of concern that hopefully will be addressed over the next month; most importantly perimeter defense and silly/sloppy offensive lapses. 9. On paper this is one of the three most difficult games remaining on our entire schedule, right up there with road games against Manhattan and SPU. Good sign that we handled this test pretty easily. 10. Hopefully AJ's reduced minutes today bode well for the quick turnaround game against QU on Tuesday.
Go Gaels!!!

Thinking the same on DL 3, this is becoming his team and his player of the year season. He is the type of player that is very difficult to replace at this level.

Nice win on the road. This team can be really scary offensively in the MAAC. Didn't really push the ball as usual, didn't shoot well in the first half and still put up 86 points. Heard a stat on the postgame that Iona only out scored Siena 6-4 on fast break points. Good job by the bench while AJ sat for about 12 minutes.
Agree with the 3 point shot from IW when Siena took the lead, very big shot. Despite all of the hype over Siena coming into the season I am not really not that impressed by them. Wright is one of the top PG'S in the MAAC, but the only player they have that I think would help Iona is Long. Looking forward to the QPAC game. going to have to rebound better than today, but just don't see them being able to score enough to beat Iona.
