The nonsense at the end of these games has to stop. All the fouls are inexcusable. Make them make their shots.

Well a win is a win.. but that absolutely awful last 8 mins put a damper on what was a great performance before that.
Coach ur not gunna call a TO during any of this to scold your guys? Maybe tell them to stop fouling.
Oh well. Like I said a W is W. Onto Buffalo trip.
Side note.. again with the score ticker issues at the end of the game..

A win is a win, but how do you not call a timeout when the lead was cut to 16? All that work to build a 24 point lead was just thrown away with careless mental mistakes.
It’s February. It’s time to figure it out or this team is leaving AC early.

This was Iona's first win by 6 or fewer points this season.
The team has learned how to crank it up and put up killshot runs, now they must learn how to step on throats. But even odd Ws like this one are still Ws.

A good feel win right after that amazing Gordon follow up dunk turns into a bad feeling win with Shema limping. Still a win but that was ridiculous, we just kept fouling and they kept hitting free throws and then we stopped making buckets. Can’t believe that ended up just a one point win. Let’s move on I Guess.

After getting knocked out in AC 2 years ago and our only home-loss ( with fans in the stands) under Pitino. I am going to savor this win. Beating Rider is a good thing

Well the good news other than notching a W is that Iona could very well be in 2nd place with a win on Thursday vs Niagara.

Let's thank the refs, they won it for us. After the Baggett technical at around the 8 minute mark, the refs called the game real tight regarding fouls. Rider crept back into the game because they were able to make a boatload of foul shots coupled with our cold spell on the offensive end. |
