A possible explanation. With Tom Moran leaving the Athletic Dept. for a vg opportunity at Marquette, there has to be some turmoil there. Haven't heard that he's been replaced, though he might have. But it's also possible that it's still up in the air, and people are doing two jobs, with less time and effort being put into turning out fans/students. One thing is certain, Tom will be missed. One comment here- Athletic Department no turmoil! Yes Tom will be missed for sure> His reason for moving on is career progression. Matt both Brians, Tyler and the rest of the staff will continue to steer the ship. Look at the growth in our athletic programs with the addition of new programs-ie Mens lacrosse- full time staff for crew program- and other programs both D1 and club we are moving in the right direction.
