No more feeling we could ever get a top player or two and ride them into the Big Dance with a chance to win a game. Any decent players we get will be gone after a year. It’s awful and I already feel disconnected that we are no longer a part of something greater.
I don’t blame Tobin, it’s the new NCAA!

It’s awful and I already feel disconnected that we are no longer a part of something greater. I don’t blame Tobin, it’s the new NCAA! It is a game of chairs with a limited number of seats. Every year new high school, prep, D2 stars and JUCO players join the remaining Div 1 players. This is a buyers market. Sit back and enjoy. Just hope that Tobin lands better mercenaries than the rest of the MAAC. |

Don't know how it will turn out, but the transfer rule changes after June. Or at least I think it does. |

I predicted this last week and again was jumped on for being "crazy". Serious issue with why some did not want to stay. I understand the top flight talent wanting out for the $$$. I do not understand some of the guys who could have developed leaving. A few big names is one thing, shockingly concerning to see this many. Yes its a new world of NIL for the mid majors but retention cannot be this bad unless there is some kind of deeper issue at hand. You cannot tell me all of these guys were motivated by money.

Could be just the landscape of NCAA hoops as whole, but I'd speculate the atmosphere did not help. I love to pack the Hynes but as we all know to truly pack it we need a student section that will show out. The schools great I went there the dorms athletes get are beautiful. I would have to guess some fall out regarding a toxic GG situation. Thats why I think we need an experienced assistant to help come in not only on the basketball side of things, but to be a Lieutenant to Tobin in terms of building a solid culture. We had a lot of young assistants many Tobin worked with prior but I do not think bringing in an older veteran voice to be your No. 2 is a bad idea. An associate head coach type of deal. |
