Seriously? Does he have a cache of recruits in hiding? I said some; not suggesting all or most. I think it’s pretty clear that those on this board don’t have much insight into what’s going on with this. Perhaps. |

Interested to see how this goes, but at the moment this is as disturbing as it gets.
So now Tobin will get another pass because he will have a whole other team yet again next year?
I am willing to be patient, but I doubt I can sign up for that again if that's how this consistently ends up.
I am a dedicated Iona fan, but this may ruin it for me and I'm sure others.
Very alarming.

The thing is no one here can fire Tobin if he doesn’t do a good job, so not sure whether it matters or not if we give him a pass. |

Why are we leading the parade? Canisius: 6 Iona: 7 Marist: 1 Mount: 3 Niagara: 1 (Donovan Hill) Sacred Heart: 1 Siena: 2 Don’t know. Could be a mix of several things. Some guys want more money, some guys don’t like Tobin, some guys don’t like the school, some guys were told they were not going to get much PT and should look elsewhere, etc. |

Outright says the reason guys left is Tobin. Could be right, could be a bitter parent or handler who has info about the situation. If you’re going to do stuff like that anonymously, hard for me to give you a lot of credence. Maybe Tobin was too hard on the guys and they didn’t like it. Different atmosphere out there these days. Guys can transfer at will. But they are also getting paid, or most of them, so maybe they’re a little spoiled. |

Very alarming. I might be too optimistic, but every year I look forward to seeing the new recruits. And ALWAYS HOPE that they'll be better than the guys leaving. If this happens again, next year, my opinion might change. |
