Build it into the ground . When you walk into the facility on ground level you are at the top of arena! Then the 3 story max is achieved easily! That is how hofstra is built!

Agree, that's how the little gem of an arena at Quinny is built. Of course I'd have to think that's a lot more expensive.

Sagarin rating 52, Vegas Power Ranking 61. They are not a top 40 team. I am sorry, but they are not. I love them but they are not.[/quote]
Until the Hofstra game they were and I think they will be back there soon. Consistently Iona may not be a top 40 team but I think they are a top 15 team when they are playing well and can be as bad as a 200th team when they are bad.
Iona is at their best when they have an 8 man rotation that includes the big 3 plus the 3 3 point shooters(& Randy & Ridley), not playing Armand and Jenkins really takes away from Iona's strength.
I am not sure why Cluess won't play Jenkins more other than he hates playing with 3 short guys, but the favortism that MoMo gets is just not fair and not smart. He can take 4 ridiculous shots and stay in the game but Jenkins makes one bad play and he is immediately pulled, I don't get it.

RPI is still 26--this is still what the NCAA uses first and foremost.
That said, I agree we're probably not a top 40 team. We were probably a top 25 team through the Denver game, but have been playing like no better than a top 75 team from Marshall on.

Joebird, My comment about top 40 came after the Hofstra game. I am aware of the situation in college basketball that you have pointed out and I have been watching for over 50 years. We aren't Butler of the last two years. I think we are very good and should win the MAAC, which is the 22nd ranked conference in the country. There are some major weaknesses, among them defense and overall length right now. I just take exception to the fact that we are one of the best teams in the country. We are very, very good and can get better. All they got to be is the top Maac team, and we'll take it from there.
