Team this reminds me the most of is the first Willard team. That team was short on talent. Good news is the team did get better as the season went on. Bad news is it never actually got good. Did improve.

Ton of games left, but it just seems like they have no basketball IQ currently. Out played and out coached every game it feels. |

Cornell has a first year head coach. Yet they have a sophisticated, well planned and crisply executed offense. Effective on defense.
I like the players on our team. They play hard and are athletic, though they struggle to hit shots. Tobin seems like a really nice guy and I want him to succeed.
However, so far in his time at Iona, Tobin just seems to be ineffective. Whatever he is trying to do on offense I can’t figure out.
Hoping things improve. These kids fight hard.

Not sure what I just watched. Tough to beg for NIL with a bad product. Especially if the circus of turnover continues. 17-22 in the Tobin era so far. Disappointing is an understatement.

A must win even by Guys lower standards and we are underdog to Cornell, the mighty have fallen. Maybe we should forfeit. Might have been more competitive if we did forfeit.Just a bad team, look uncoached, unsure on offense and ill prepared. On the positive side, they play hard. Gotta give Cornell credit they made their shots.Will probably pick up some wins in the horrific maac, but this is a bad team. Somebody else pointed out 17-22, under Tobin. |
