Menard and Emuobor offer zero offensive threat. How about Bundy? Zero

Jalen Barr is a hell of a defender and plays with maximum effort. He might be the best player on the team

Positive- They play hard.
Negative-Tobin did not recruit enough offensive players and the guys on D get lost and always leave 3 point shooters wide open.
Unless Winborne is the next Lebron James I just don’t see how this team can be any better than a middle of the road Maac team.
I hope for the best in the remaining season but don’t expect much.

There is no offense, even on the inbound when we had 5 seconds there was no play called, we did somehow score. Someone pointed out they had a new coach so that would = 100% new players. If we start with 3 bigs every game, even though we thought that wasn't going to happen anymore, how do you run motion and how do you press?

If that's the positive we are in trouble, the 2 Cyo teams played hard at halftime also

This team is not a good shooting team, period.
The Cluess teams always had 3 players on the floor at all times who could knock down the open shot and there was always depth off the bench. I just don’t see the offensive talent on this team outside of the backcourt of Njie and Reaves which IMO can be a very good combination as the season progresses. Beyond that, I just don’t think we have the personnel needed to compete at the top of the league. Hope I am wrong.

We definitely don’t have the shooters that Cluess recruited, but the chaos that is our half court offense does not help create shots, or put players in a position to succeed. I understand what Tobin is trying to do on defense; whether the players execute it consistently is another matter. But their hustle and athleticism help on D. Our offense is another matter. There seems to be no philosophy/approach on offense. Flinging the ball around the perimeter while the clock expires only to rush a shot does not work. Nor does relying on dribble drives when we have few outside shooters. We set almost no screens, use almost no give and goes, and seldom cut to the hoop without the ball.

We need to wait and see what Winborne can offer. If he’s a stud then Tobin should always have two of the three (Winborne, Reaves and Njie) on the court at the same time. Question mark is can Moundi and Rupert (upon his return) function properly in the same lineup together. Biggie should be in there too. He was a monster on the boards against Princeton and we need more of that. Would like to see more Barr as he is our lunch pail, energy guy and I suppose you sprinkle in Bundy, Jungers, Emuobor and Hogarth as matchups dictate. Probably crazy glue Menard and Wallace to the bench.
