Deja Vu all over again, though I guess what else do you expect Tobin to say. Not very encouraging and Patterson appears to be deep in the doghouse.

Scary, offense is not the problem.this is the best offense we can run? ?? Shouldn't we try to run a few plays be saying that. If we score in half court we could press more. Hard to press when we score off fast breaks only

I listened to Tobin’s press conference. Seems to me that defense is his first, second, and third priorities. I suspect that offense is a bit of an afterthought in practice.
He needs to run some plays on offense. The “let it happen organically in the half court” approach didn’t work last year and isn’t working this year.

They could work on the back door play or maybe the out the door play. I have seen no improvement with this team, we need to hit the outside shot to open up the paint. Free throw shooting improved, now work on your 3 point shooting.

Last years team was more gifted offensively and Tobin knows it. 65 turnovers in first six games compared to this teams 104. For all our struggles last year, they only averaged 10.1 turnovers a night. While dishing out 14.3 assists. Gordon, Jean, Tretout, Quigley & Panzo were all competent, while Osborn was a high IQ point big man. We need Winborne desperately

But make no mistake, last years offense was painful to watch and often pointless. Just like this seasons. If we are not going to try to run any plays perhaps look to take the first decent shot that is available? Can’t be any worse than the hot potato, pass it around the perimeter for 20-25 seconds until the shot clock is about to expire approach we are using.

Was just pointing out the alarming turnover disparity between the the two teams. 12 new players last year as well, but we only averaged 10 turnovers throughout the first 6 games compared to this teams 17.5
