Oldtimer is still in the hospital, suffered a mini stroke. More details to follow. I will continue praying. I never met OT, but I feel like he is part of my family. You can tell just from his posts over the years that he is a wise, kind man.

Sending out prayers to Oldtimer and his family. A great man and a great Iona fan. With his obvious strength (and wisdom), I know that he will bounce back quickly. We're all rooting for you OT.

I always enjoyed reading his non-basketball messages the most because of my love of history. Get well soon!

I believe I have read that OT is retired from the NR Police Dept. I wonder how many of us on this Board have had prior encounters with OT on North Avenue.

I believe I have read that OT is retired from the NR Police Dept. I wonder how many of us on this Board have had prior encounters with OT on North Avenue. If anyone did, I guarantee it was a fair encounter with a wise officer. And I'm sure it would have been a learning experience.

OT, get well soon, you are in my prayers.
You should know that my Mom, now 84, has suffered 2 T.I.A.s over the past couple of years. She has gotten everything back. This is my hope for you.
Look forward to having you back on the board soon.
God Bless You!
Go Gaels!!!

Super fan OT, we need you back here!
When the conventional stuff is done, please follow up ASAP with acupuncture and hyperbaric oxygen--the full court press.
